Practical travel guide
Alcorcón Central and San José de Valderas
Alcorcón Central and San José de Valderas are different stations. Check the arrival name on your ticket and current Cercanías notices before arranging pickup. If the operator provides an alternative connection or changes the arrival point, use that actual location when requesting your taxi. The C5 map helps with orientation but does not replace service information for your travel date. Confirm the particular exit and share the agreed meeting point with everyone travelling with you before leaving the arrival area.
Los Castillos and the MAVA museum
Los Castillos de San José de Valderas is a specific landmark for visiting Alcorcón’s Museum of Glass Art, MAVA. It is different from an address in the town centre. Name the museum or the entrance to the complex you wish to reach and agree on a meeting street for your return. Organise the cultural visit and its opening hours separately from transport: a vehicle request neither includes admission nor confirms that the museum will be open.
An Alcorcón address and a Madrid flight
For a journey between Alcorcón and Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, enter MAD, the flight terminal and the full departure address. Alcorcón is a separate municipality from Madrid, so do not assume a fare advertised for another area covers this journey. When leaving accommodation, use its actual entrance rather than a nearby station as a substitute. Check the applicable price and leave time for road conditions as well as procedures at the airport.
Prepare your pickup
Enter the street, building number and accommodation name when it helps identify the entrance. If arriving by train or plane, prepare the journey reference and keep your phone reachable. Check the summary before sending your request and then follow the confirmation instructions. Sending a request is not yet confirmation of a driver, and a general address does not replace an agreed meeting point.
Luggage, children and individual requirements
Count passengers, suitcases and bulky items separately. A group carrying several bags may need a different vehicle from two people with hand luggage. Mention children, pushchairs or accessibility requirements in advance. Do not assume that a child seat or suitable vehicle is available: wait for the necessary features to be confirmed before relying on the transfer.
Journey price and travel time
The journey price depends on the applicable taxi rules, route and any supplements. Do not read a journey-time estimate as a guaranteed price, or confuse the fare with the platform service. Pay the fare directly to the driver. Leave a margin before a flight, train or event: road traffic, luggage and access arrangements can all affect the overall time.
Taxi questions
How do I book a taxi in Alcorcón?
Complete the form with full pickup and destination addresses, time, passengers and a reachable phone number. In Alcorcón, use the street and building number rather than just a neighbourhood. Check the summary and follow the confirmation you receive.
Which arrival point should I enter in Alcorcón?
Arrival reference: Alcorcón Central railway station. Check the name shown on your ticket and agree on the exit for your meeting. A booked taxi may use a point different from the public rank; follow the confirmed instructions before moving with your luggage. Check current operator notices and confirm the actual transport service. If an alternative is provided, agree on the real arrival point before pickup.
How do I arrange an airport taxi?
For Alcorcón, check the correct airport: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). Prepare the flight, terminal and luggage details. Allow for leaving arrivals or checking in, and avoid confusing different airports when entering your destination.
Can the taxi stop outside my accommodation?
For accommodation, give its street, building number and entrance, and confirm where a vehicle can stop. For a visit, name the particular museum, beach, church or other attraction and agree on a road-accessible meeting point. A nearby landmark does not replace the hotel address.
Can I travel with luggage or children?
Mention passenger numbers, luggage size and quantity, and any children’s requirements. Child seats, extra space or accessibility need specific confirmation; do not assume they are automatically included.
How much does a taxi in Alcorcón cost?
There is no single fare for every journey in Alcorcón. Taxi fare rules apply, including any conditions for predetermined routes where relevant. Confirm the ride conditions with the driver and request a receipt.
Does sending a request immediately guarantee a driver?
No. Sending the form starts a request. Availability and pickup still need confirmation. Before going to a meeting point, check the instructions received and your journey details.
