Practical travel guide
Soria railway station and the bus station
Soria railway station, also known as El Cañuelo, is on Carretera de Madrid. The bus station has a different address on Avenida de Valladolid; these are separate arrival points. Check the name on your ticket and state your mode of transport when requesting pickup. If your journey uses a high-speed train to Calatayud, that connection ends outside Soria and the onward leg must be arranged separately. Do not replace the actual arrival station with your final city.
The Numantino Museum and the city centre
The Numantino Museum is a visit within Soria and should not be confused with the archaeological site of Numancia. For a museum transfer, use its full name and agree on the entrance or accessible street; do not enter only Numancia as the destination. If continuing to a hotel or restaurant in the centre, prepare that address too. Archaeological visits and admission are arranged separately from the taxi, and opening hours should be checked before setting the return.
San Juan de Duero and onward connections
The monastery of San Juan de Duero stands across the river near the stone bridge and is a different destination from the Numantino Museum. Agree on a roadside pickup point rather than a location inside the visitor grounds. For an onward journey to Madrid-Barajas Airport, enter MAD and the terminal: this is a transfer beyond Soria. Check the journey conditions and the time margin you need before combining an airport connection with a cultural visit.
Prepare your pickup
Enter the street, building number and accommodation name when it helps identify the entrance. If arriving by train or plane, prepare the journey reference and keep your phone reachable. Check the summary before sending your request and then follow the confirmation instructions. Sending a request is not yet confirmation of a driver, and a general address does not replace an agreed meeting point.
Luggage, children and individual requirements
Count passengers, suitcases and bulky items separately. A group carrying several bags may need a different vehicle from two people with hand luggage. Mention children, pushchairs or accessibility requirements in advance. Do not assume that a child seat or suitable vehicle is available: wait for the necessary features to be confirmed before relying on the transfer.
Journey price and travel time
The journey price depends on the applicable taxi rules, route and any supplements. Do not read a journey-time estimate as a guaranteed price, or confuse the fare with the platform service. Pay the fare directly to the driver. Leave a margin before a flight, train or event: road traffic, luggage and access arrangements can all affect the overall time.
Taxi questions
How do I book a taxi in Soria?
Complete the form with full pickup and destination addresses, time, passengers and a reachable phone number. In Soria, use the street and building number rather than just a neighbourhood. Check the summary and follow the confirmation you receive.
Which arrival point should I enter in Soria?
Arrival reference: Soria (El Cañuelo) railway station. Check the name shown on your ticket and agree on the exit for your meeting. A booked taxi may use a point different from the public rank; follow the confirmed instructions before moving with your luggage.
How do I arrange an airport taxi?
For Soria, check the correct airport: Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). Prepare the flight, terminal and luggage details. Allow for leaving arrivals or checking in, and avoid confusing different airports when entering your destination.
Can the taxi stop outside my accommodation?
For accommodation, give its street, building number and entrance, and confirm where a vehicle can stop. For a visit, name the particular museum, beach, church or other attraction and agree on a road-accessible meeting point. A nearby landmark does not replace the hotel address.
Can I travel with luggage or children?
Mention passenger numbers, luggage size and quantity, and any children’s requirements. Child seats, extra space or accessibility need specific confirmation; do not assume they are automatically included.
How much does a taxi in Soria cost?
There is no single fare for every journey in Soria. Taxi fare rules apply, including any conditions for predetermined routes where relevant. Confirm the ride conditions with the driver and request a receipt.
Does sending a request immediately guarantee a driver?
No. Sending the form starts a request. Availability and pickup still need confirmation. Before going to a meeting point, check the instructions received and your journey details.
